Cantare, Inc., a Virginia corporation not for profit, is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. The concert choir Collegium Cantorum is the corporation's only project.
Contributions to Cantare, Inc. or Collegium Cantorum are fully tax-deductible. As a matter of philosophy, neither Cantare, Inc. nor Collegium Cantorum receive or solicit financial support from any agency of (Federal, State, or local) government. The organization depends entirely upon the voluntary support of the audiences and the generosity of individual donors.
