This Collegium Cantorum is a concert choir, organized and named in 1986, which performs in the greater Washington, D.C. area of the U.S.A. The Latin name (loosely translated "a company of singers") was chosen to suggest a concentration on "early music"; by our definition, this means music composed before 1600.
